It is with great empathy we read of a Sindbad submarine incident in Egypt on March 27th 2025. Beyond what has been reported in the media, we do not have details on the matter but our words of comfort and condolences go out to all involved. While we await further details on the cause of the incident, we wish to clarify that Atlantis Submarines is not affiliated in any way with the Sindbad submarine or its operating company.
The number one focus of Atlantis Submarines' operations worldwide has always been safety, compliance with standards and oversight from external regulators and local authorities, all of which are paramount. With an impeccable safety record, all Atlantis operations are subject to annual recertification by regulators and a rigid preventative maintenance program overseen by ASI throughout the year.
